Terms of Service - CharmPro: AI Social Coach

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CharmPro: AI Social Coach ("Application", "CharmPro"), operated by Emir Arıkan ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Application you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

CharmPro is a subscription-based practice tool for everyday communication skills. It provides voice roleplay conversations with an AI coach, AI-generated feedback reports, micro-lessons, and progress tracking. All AI conversations are simulated practice — there is no human coach on the other side.

3. Not Professional Advice

CharmPro is a self-improvement practice tool. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind — including psychological, therapeutic, medical, legal, or career counseling. AI feedback reflects patterns in your practice conversation and may be imperfect or wrong. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental-health concerns, please seek help from a qualified professional.

4. Acceptable Use

Use the Application only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
Do not attempt to use the AI coach to generate harassing, abusive, deceptive, or manipulative content, or to rehearse harming others.
Do not reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or interfere with the Application or its AI services.
CharmPro's coaching is built around respectful, consent-aware communication; content that violates this intent may be refused by the AI.

5. AI Output and Accuracy

AI-generated conversation, scores, and feedback are produced automatically and provided "as is". They may contain inaccuracies, and identical performances may receive different feedback. Scores are practice signals, not objective measurements of you as a person.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

CharmPro requires an active auto-renewable subscription (weekly or annual) purchased through your Apple ID. There is no free trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Prices may vary by region and may change; changes apply to future renewal periods only.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
Restore Purchases is available on the paywall and in Settings.

7. Third-Party Services

The Application relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase and Google AI (Gemini API) for AI conversations, and RevenueCat for subscription management. Their availability affects the Application; outages or changes on their side may temporarily limit features. Use of these services is subject to their own terms.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the anonymous account model, microphone use, AI processing of session audio, and in-app data deletion.

9. Intellectual Property

The Application, its design, content, lesson material, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You retain whatever rights you may have in the things you say during practice; you grant us the limited license needed to process them to operate the service (conversation, transcripts, feedback).

10. Changes to the Application

We may add, change, or remove features (including AI models, scenarios, and lessons) at any time. We may impose usage limits — such as session length — to keep the service reliable and affordable.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Application at any time; the in-app "Delete All Data" removes your anonymous profile. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or abuse of the service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
