Free designs are delivered as a blurred preview. The sharp, full-resolution image is unlocked by Decor Studio Pro — the design you already generated is kept, so unlocking reveals that exact image rather than making you start again.
Decor Studio keeps the camera angle, walls, windows and ceiling of your photo. If the two halves do not line up, it is usually a very wide-angle shot or a photo taken at an extreme tilt — retake it more square to the room and try again.
A failed generation does not consume your free design. Check your connection and try again; if it keeps failing, email us with the approximate time and we will look at the logs.
Settings → Appearance switches between System, Light and Dark. It is a real preference, not just a mirror of the phone: judging a dark room's colours against a pale interface (or the other way round) is a legitimate reason to override what iOS is doing.
Once you have more than a handful, the Projects tab gains a search field and All / Ready / Locked filters. Search matches the title the app gave the design.
The dice button next to "Start a design" on Home begins a quick redesign with the style already chosen at random. Same flow, one less decision — useful when you want to see what the app does before you have an opinion about Japandi.
Decor Studio is available in 24 languages and follows your device language on first launch. To change it afterwards: Settings → Language.
