Earbloom teaches ear training on your iPhone. Lessons, sounds and your progress work offline and stay on your device unless you choose to back them up. Earbloom never uses the microphone, shows no ads and doesn't sell or share personal data.
All sounds are generated on your device from a bundled piano sound bank; nothing you hear is streamed.
If you turn on backup with Sign in with Apple (Settings → Backup), Earbloom creates an account with Google Firebase Authentication and stores your learning history in Google Cloud Firestore so you can restore it on another device: answers to practice questions, lesson progress and scores, and your onboarding choices. We don't request your name or email; Apple may give us a private relay identifier. Only you can read this data. You can delete it anytime in Settings → Backup → Delete account.
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google) to understand which lessons work and to fix crashes. These collect app-usage events (for example "lesson practiced" with the lesson number and a score such as 8 of 10), device model, iOS version and an app-instance identifier. They never include audio, your name, email or anything you type. This data is not used for advertising or tracking. Firebase Remote Config is used to switch features on or off.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. RevenueCat, our purchase-infrastructure provider, processes an app-generated identifier (or your backup account identifier, if you use backup) and purchase receipt information to validate access. We never see your payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Earbloom contains no advertising and performs no cross-app tracking. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you.
Earbloom does not ask for microphone, location, contacts or photo access.
Earbloom is a general-audience learning app and is not directed at children under 13.
