No account

ParentPlan requires no sign-up or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter or import stays in the app's protected storage on your iPhone, including:

• your child's name or nickname, grade, school, and plan type,
• imported documents (PDFs, scans, photos) and the text read from them,
• goals, services, accommodations, and important dates you confirm,
• service logs, progress entries, parent notes, meeting notes, and communication records,
• meeting prep briefs and Evidence Packs you create.

Text is read from your documents on the device (Apple's on-device text recognition). We do not upload your documents to any database or file storage of our own.

AI features

Some features use an AI model: document analysis, Ask My File, meeting prep, and communication summaries. These run only when you tap to start them. When you do:

• only the text needed for that request (the relevant pages or passages) is sent to Google's Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic to generate the result,
• no analytics identifier is sent with that text,
• the result is returned to your device and stored there; we do not keep a copy of your documents, prompts, or answers on any server of ours.

Google processes this content under its Firebase data processing terms. The app warns you before analysis if a document appears to contain sensitive numbers (for example a Social Security number), so you can review it first.

Analytics and crash reports

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. These collect app-usage events (for example "onboarding completed" or "service log created"), counts, device model, iOS version, and an app-instance identifier. They never include your child's name, school, diagnoses or disability information, document text, note text, teacher or provider names, birth dates, or contact details. Firebase Remote Config and App Check are used to switch features on or off and to protect the service from abuse.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. RevenueCat, our purchase-infrastructure provider, processes an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipt information to validate access. We never see your payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

No tracking, no ads

ParentPlan contains no advertising and performs no cross-app tracking. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you.

Permissions

• Camera — only to scan school documents you choose to import.
• Photos — only the pictures you select for import.
• Face ID — only if you turn on App Lock; handled entirely by iOS.
• Notifications — local reminders for dates you set; scheduled on your device.

Your control

• Delete any single document and, optionally, the records created from it.
• Export your data from You → Data & Privacy.
• Delete all app data from You → Data & Privacy → Delete All Local Data. Deleting the app also removes it.

Sharing an Evidence Pack or export is always your action; you choose where it goes.

Children

ParentPlan is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. Information about a child is entered by the parent and stays on the parent's device.
