Recording a drive
Tap Start on the Drive tab. Revcrew keeps recording with the screen locked and shows the drive on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Short stops (traffic lights, jams) pause the trip without ending it; after a long stop the trip ends by itself.
Automatic tracking
Turn it on from the Drive tab or Settings → Tracking. iOS asks for "Always" location access; choose Change to Always Allow when prompted, or later in iPhone Settings → Revcrew → Location. Keep Motion & Fitness on so Revcrew can tell driving apart from walking and trains. Low Power Mode can delay detection by a minute or two.
A trip looks wrong
- Open the trip → Edit to trim the ends, split it, merge it with the next one, change the vehicle or mark it as a passenger trip.
- Trips that looked like a train, flight or walk ask "Was this a drive?" — they don't count toward clubs until you answer.
- Tunnels and GPS dropouts are labeled on the timeline; distance across them is the straight line, never more.
Clubs
- Share your invite link or 6-character code; friends join from Club → Join with a code.
- Only verified drives count. Passenger trips, flights and trips with unreliable GPS are excluded.
- To keep your clubs when you change phones, use Sign in with Apple in Club or Settings → Account.
Widgets, CarPlay and Shortcuts
Add the "This month" or "Quick start" widget from the Home Screen widget gallery. With CarPlay, Revcrew appears as a driving task with Start, Pause and End. In the Shortcuts app you can create an automation such as "When CarPlay connects → Start Drive".
Your data
- Your trips live on this iPhone. Export them from Settings → Your data → Export all trips.
- Delete everything from Settings → Your data → Delete all trips.
- Delete your club account from Settings → Account → Delete account.
Purchases & restore
- New device or reinstalled? Settings → Restore purchases (also on the paywall).
- Cancel or change plan: Settings → Manage subscription (opens Apple's subscription settings).
- Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
